  • Park completely on a driveway, or in a garage, carport or accessory building. Lawn parking is not allowed.
  • Boats, RVs, trailers and golf carts must be in a garage or carport, or in the backyard screened on all sides by a 6-foot solid fence or dense plants.
  • Commercial vehicles may be kept at a home only inside a garage, carport or accessory building, and not overnight in the open.
  • Cars parked on swales again and again can be reported to the police non-emergency line, 954-797-2100.

What this means for you

  • East of Pine Island Road, try Freebee for short trips; it is free.
  • Use the RideBCT app for live bus times.
  • Keep cars off the lawn and swale to avoid a code enforcement notice.
